Garden Den
We recently completed this secluded den in a garden in Redland, Bristol. Its sort of a combination of a summerhouse, shed, and treehouse, hidden away amongst the trees. We used a simplified version of the Walter Segal Method for the frame (much more to come on this technique) and clad the build in durable waney-edge larch. The 2 -storey den has a living roof too, and the family helped with the build, including making the ladder using green woodworking techniques. It's so secluded it's almost impossible to get in a photo, but i've tried my best.
